Self-development, mentorship and HR strategy in Normandy.

In a jaw-dropping setting of nature and beauty, located 600 meters from the sea and the chalk cliffs of Normandy, I propose a unique offering of executive mentorship and consultancy in human resource strategy. Through a tailor-made program that combines quality-time coaching and mentorship with a taste of local gastronomy in excellent restaurants, and a night in our luxury suite, you will enjoy an experience fully dedicated to your individual development needs and well-being.

Our offer aims at providing executive managers and entrepreneurs with the know-how they need to enhance their people management skills, reflect upon their organization, or develop an efficient HR strategy that will support their business objectives. How to manage a team, attract, recruit, develop and retain talents, set up a proper compensation and benefit strategy, or trigger engagement from your collaborators –these are just some of the topics that we can explore. Through quality discussions, my objective is to provide you with an external opinion on the issues you face, challenge you to reflect upon them and help you identify concrete actions that can be taken.

Moreover, I can support the implementation of the actions you decide to implement through specific consultancy missions within your organisation.

A unique blended experience

Our mentorship experience usually takes place over an evening and the following day. After settling in your suite in our Anglo-Normand Mansion in the late afternoon, you will be invited out for dinner in a luxury restaurant in Etretat. The first evening will be dedicated to introduce ourselves, diagnose your needs and define the topics you wish to discuss during your stay.

The morning after, you will start the day with an epic breakfast, followed by individual coaching and mentoring sessions, with some moments of self-reflection where you will be enjoying the beauty and serenity of our preserved environment. Before parting, a last wrap-up session will allow you to conclude on your coaching with a set of practical take-aways and actions that you can start implementing as soon as you are back at the office.

About me

Born in Brussels from a Portuguese father and a German mother, I grew up in Belgium and graduated in Political Sciences and international politics at the university of Louvain-la-Neuve. After my studies, my interests took me to Russia, where I managed a team in charge of French cultural promotion at the French Consulate of St Petersburg. It is in St-Petersburg that I met my wife Elena.

After a few years, we relocated to Brussels where I started my career in the financial industry, fulfilling various management functions. Seizing an expat opportunity, we moved on to Krakow in Poland where I contributed to the set-up of a new operational centre for a large Belgian bank. This mission gave me the opportunity to further build my experience in the human dimensions of managerial work and the mentorship of local management teams.

My growing passion for the human aspects in business, led me to restart some studies in HR to obtain a second Master Degree from the university of Salford, UK and the Robert Kennedy College in Switzerland. This naturally led me to move into the position of Senior HR Business Partner for Euroclear Bank in Brussels. In parallel, I started a specific coaching degree in the College of Management and IT in Ireland.

My personal interests are my wonderful wife and my two kids, gardening, gastronomy, reading and listening to good music.

Best regards,

David Dos Santos Ferreira
