The property was originally a thatched cottage built during the first half of the 19th century. It was gradually expanded and transformed by the famous French architect Camille Albert in a typical Anglo-Normand style. Its facades have been enriched with sculptures and statues.
The property is now composed of several buildings, on a piece of land of 1.6 hectare of bucolic nature surrounded by forest.
